The clients brief was simple; To maximise Sun + views + maintain privacy from the street and from a home owner on the lower slope. Our clients were particular on how they wanted to live in there home so it's a great pleasure to know that we have been successful in helping them achieve there goals. As you arrive at the taylors residence you are greeted by the soothing sound of running water from the reflection pool at the entry. The main edar front doors open to a double height entry + stairwell and leads to a 3m wide vista of the ocean backdrop viewed through a covered outdoor living space. Seperate living and family areas both open to this courtyard area. Dining, Kitchen and Family room also to a seperate evening deck to the north-west of the home. The main living area with double-sided fire to the covered courtyard also has fantastic views to sea and the valleys of nelson. Upstairs is the private part of any home with the master bedroom and majestic ensuite all with city and ocean views. The Office, three more bedrooms, bathroom and an upper living area complete the upper level.
